Okay, so, one of my favorite comments this week:
Me: "Are you all working together, speaking kindly to one another, and getting the project completed?"
Student: "Well, I'm trying but they won't listen to me!"
Haha! We are still learning what it means to work together. :)
We are studying Beowulf right now, and we are having a blast doing it. When I read the part when Grendel attacks the mean hall I turned out the lights to set the mood. The kids were a little scared and they absolutely loved it. They beg me to read more and more every day. Today we made a class project: the big hairy monster arm of Grendel. We had a blast.
