Wow! First quarter is already over! Without a second to spare we are on the next quarter! The second year of teaching is very different from the first. My knowledge of the subject matter has grown so much, and I am used to the work load and know what is coming and what is expected of me. But, a new year brings a new set of students and a new dynamic. I'm loving school...I'm just so tired. I'm still not used to getting up so early--not a morning person!
I'm trying to be more than just a 24/7 teacher, so I've started exercising again. Zumba is my new thing. I love it! It can actually keep my attention. I'm realizing I have a VERY short attention span. I'm also spending time with some girls from church and attending Bible studies once a week. I love that time with those girls. It's been really great. I'm also trying to cook more and do some relaxing crafty things every once in a while...but sometimes after 4th grade arts and crafts all day...I'm sick of the smell of glue. haha I guess bulletin boards are my new craft project. I did a fun bulletin board this week. I'll have to upload the pictures. :)

You totally need to teach Zumba, I have always thought of you whenever I see this little blond Zumba teacher at my gym. "Oh, EZ Mack could TOTALLY rock at teaching this."
