Week 21

The Date: June 5th-11th, 2013

How far along? 21 weeks


Total weight gain/loss: 5 Pounds up! 

Baby Size: Baby is the size of a pomegranate. About 10.5 inches long and 13 ounces.

Things I learned about Baby:  Baby boy is gaining some body fat and a thin layer of hair (lanugo). 

Maternity clothes:

 I'm wearing a few maternity items but mainly just maternity jeans with regular tops. My favorite thing to wear is comfy and cool jersey dresses with sandals.

Changes I've noticed: My belly is definitely growing! It's feeling heavy too so my back is hurting. I've pulled out my pilates ball and I sit on that to help my back.

Sleep: Sleep is getting harder again with my growing belly. It's hard to get comfortable. I lay on my side and put a blanket under my stomach to support it and hold it up, that seems to help some. 

Best Moment this week:Feeling tons and tons of kicks!

Miss anything: I am missing work at the moment. I am so so thankful to stay home with baby,...but since baby isn't here yet I'm a little bored. haha. I should do housework but that is not my favorite thing to do.

Crave anything: Not really.


Movement: I'm feeling little guy toss and turn in my stomach. It's a crazy feeling! He is getting bigger and bigger and it is getting more noticeable each day!

Anything making you queasy or sick: When I get really hot I also get nauseous.

Showing: Yes!

Labor Signs: none.


Belly Button:  Still in

Wedding Rings: Still fit

Moods: Feeling great! My car broke down this week and I started crying pretty quickly as I felt stuck and hot. Not sure if I would have been as upset if I weren't pregnant. I'm extremely thankful it was just me in the car and baby stuck in the hot car. God is merciful!  

Dreams: I dreamed that I was back in college and and just had a newborn baby. I had all 8:00 classes and missed that last week. I was about to fail them all so I had to go. I walked around my dorm trying to find anyone who could watch my baby while i went to class. It was for sure a stress dream! My dream was about 2 weeks long of me in college and not really knowing who had my baby at the moment. I found someone feeding newborn cafeteria food! haha  I am very thankful I'm having at baby at 27 when I'm married and out of college. :) 

Baby Preparations:  Registered at Target!

I am looking forward to...my next doctors appointment at 22 weeks.
