Naked Seeds

Every year in science we study about gymnosperms and angiosperms. Well, his lesson always makes me laugh. Why, you ask? Well, angiosperms reproduce with seeds that are enclosed in fruit. Gymnosperms produce seeds that are usually in cones, but we call them "naked seeds." It crack me up when I ask how gymnosperms reproduce and the kids say, "NEked seeds!" (pronounced with the "e" as in "Tedd", nEked.)

hahahaha.

The south has so many charms and wonderful qualities...but the pronunciation of the word naked just cracks me up. :)
