A Little Mack History

When we were up in Pennsylvanian for my Nana's funeral my cousin Kirsten took some photos that gave a little Nana History. The photo above is at the Mack family grave area. Those were all the Mack's who could attend the funeral.

The is a picture of Boston's store. My great-grandmother and great-grandfather built this large store and it is very well known in Erie, PA. I didn't realize this...but the Mack name is famous there. (At least we would like to think so).

The restaurant that my great grandparents started was called "Under the Clock." When my grandparents were dating my Grandpa and Nana would meet under this very clock. Isn't that cute?

Here is the building owned by the Mack family. You can see that there is a clock above the building now too.

We were able to visit my grandpa's grave too. He has the same verse on his grave that my dad does. "I have no great joy than to see my children walk in truth." 3 John 1:4
My Nana was buried right next to grandpa.

A few Mack family photos.
In the photo above my dad is the blonde boy on the far left looking at the camera. He was a cutie.

Nana with Uncle Dave, Uncle Bruce, and toddler Daddy.

Another family photo. My dad is boy on the far right in the middle. I guess my dad even wore suits when he was a little boy.

This is a photo take from my Nana's high school yearbook. This was her senior picture.

Nana and Grandpa in the 50's. They were classy.

Nana and Grandpa when they were either dating or newly married.

Thanks Kirsten for taking all the pictures! It was awesome to learn a little more about the Mack side of the family.

Great memories of Dad and Nana and more to make with the rest of the family. :)
