Silent Night

I know this is a terrible picture but this is my bulletin board from December. I thought I would post it on my blog for nostalgia.

This board was super easy and extremely cheap!

Instead of buying a bulletin board set for Christmas I decided to make it all out of paper.

I found a picture of the Bethlehem skyline on the internet and used a ruler to draw my own version of it on black bulletin board paper. I cut it out and added a few yellow windows here and there.

I used dark blue paper for the background.

I found silver glitter puff paint and made little dots for stars. (It is hard to see in the picture but in person it added a cute little sparkle.)

I found a star on the computer and printed it out. Then I added some glitter to it and added it to my bulletin board. I was going to use silver letters to write the first few lines of the Christmas hymn. The letters were too big so I decided just to write "Silent Night."

Our "Hymn of the Month" in fourth grade was silent night so it work perfectly.

A few of my students said they loved the bulletin board. That is always encouraging. :)
